Hi Everyone!
I'm a photographer based in Colorado. I Graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design with a BFA in Photography and Video Art. When I'm not taking photos, I like to spend time with my friends and family. I love animals, they happen to be a favorite subject to take pictures of, and I have two rescue kitties named Boo & Belle.
My interest in photography really started when I was in the hospital after I had a near death from pancreatitis. I had had major abdominal surgery and asked my mom to take a picture of my incision because I could not bend to see it. When I saw the photo, I became less afraid of what was a traumatic and drastic change for and to my body, and I realized that photos can turn things that are scary or awkward into something less frightening, interesting, and possibly even beautiful. Since then I’ve been exploring new ways of viewing life through my photography. When I do portraits, I try to capture the different sides people and animals have, as well as the beauty they possess, both inside and out.
